Six utility programs — in 1K of RAM
This cassette is part of the official 'Software' series published directly by Sinclair Research in 1981, recognisable by its distinctive black-and-red graphic design. It contains six mathematical utility programs — calculation, financial balance, volumes, averages, number-base conversion and temperatures — all designed to run in the mere 1K of RAM of a bare ZX81, without any memory expansion. An extremely constrained BASIC programming exercise that bears witness to the ingenuity of the programmers of the time. These cassettes from the official Sinclair range were sold in W.H. Smith and by mail order.
