4-slot cartridge expansion for Color Computer
The Multi-Pak Interface is a hardware expansion that plugs into the Color Computer's cartridge port and provides 4 interchangeable cartridge slots. It allows up to 4 Program Paks to be used simultaneously, one at a time without having to unplug them, with a front selector (1-2-3-4) to switch between them on the fly — a reset is sometimes necessary. Slot 4 is generally reserved for the disk controller when present. It is the most iconic CoCo expansion: it transforms the machine from a simple cartridge console into a true workstation capable of combining disk controller + RS-232 Pak + software cartridge + network interface simultaneously. There are three hardware revisions: the 26-3024 (grey, CoCo 1), the 26-3124 (white, CoCo 2) and the 26-3124A (white, CoCo 3). This unit is the 26-3124 European PAL version (220-240V/50Hz, made in Korea), white case with the characteristic angled front. It is complete with two manuals: a trilingual French/Dutch/German user manual (Benelux/DACH distribution) and an original Tandy English Owner's Manual. The 'PASSED' QA seals and the 'Opening case will void warranty' sticker are intact → case never opened.
