6809 Editor/Assembler with ZBUG for Color Computer
EDTASM+ is Tandy's official editor/assembler for the Color Computer line, released in 1982. It allows programming in Motorola 6809E assembly language (the CoCo's CPU) and includes ZBUG, a built-in debugger. It was the go-to tool for anyone wanting to push beyond the limits of Color BASIC and exploit the hardware directly. 'Not particularly intuitive but very useful' according to users of the time, it was often used in combination with the book 'Color Computer Assembly Language Programming'. This unit is the official Benelux version distributed in Belgium, with its trilingual French/Dutch/English manual. The cartridge is still in its original blister attached to the cardboard cover — remarkable condition for a 1982 piece of software. Note: the title rebadged in three languages ('Ordinateur Couleurs Editeur/Assembleur+', 'Kleurencomputer Editor/Assembler+', 'Color Computer Editor/Assembler+') confirms the official Radio Shack Belgium distribution.
